TrackedAED -
A Community-Built, "Living" AED Network

TrackedAED strengthens AED networks by placing reliability in the hands of owners and transparency in the hands of the community.

This free platform enables:

  • Structured AED registration

  • Ongoing inspection logging and maintenance records

  • Organisational ownership, with delegated management across sites.

  • Confidence/reliability scoring based on verified inspection activity

  • Secure data sharing with ambulance services where agreements exist

Because visibility alone is not enough — reliability matters.

TrackedAED combines professional AED management with community-powered verification.

Together, these create a living AED network that communities can rely on.

A Living Network of Reliable AEDs

TrackedAED combines technology with community engagement to create a network of AEDs people can rely on in an emergency.

AED owners, organisations, local volunteers and families, help keep AED information accurate and up to date through:

Guardian Verification
Community Guardians confirm AEDs are present, accessible, and working.

AED Hunt Program
Community members help locate and register AEDs that wouldmightotherwise remain unknown.

Kids Reward Program
Young people and families help build safer communities while learning lifesaving awareness.

Together, these programs help ensure AEDs are not just mapped — but trusted and accessible by those who need them, when they need them.

TrackedAED provides reliability confidence indicators based on inspection history and community verification, giving users greater confidence that an AED will be ready when needed.

A stronger community means a stronger lifesaving network.

Confidence in Every AED

TrackedAED provides reliability confidence indicators based on:

  • Inspection history

  • Battery and pad expiry

  • Operational status

  • Community verification activity

Users can see at a glance how likely an AED is to be ready in an emergency.

Confidence replaces uncertainty.

  • if it is a 24/7 accessible AED immediately, by its yellow coloured icon

  • the address of the site

  • where it is located at the site address

  • directions to the AED from your current location

You can also:

  • Report that the AED is present and working, present and not working, or stolen/missing

  • Claim the AED as your own if it has been registered to the platform by a member of the public

Gamification for Kids - coming soon...

Our fun, cuddly characters, Call, Push and Shock will help children remember the 3 steps in the Chain of Survival.

Kids can join in the fun, and help keep the AED network reliable and viable at the same time.  Each month, scanning an AED unlocks a new character card for their digital collection, scanning 3 additional AEDs unlocks 3 additional cards, plus a bonus song to listen to.

3 Easy Steps

2. Provide your details requested to sign up - this means that the AEDs you register will be associated with your account.

3.  Register your AED details - simply fill in the details requested for each AED that you own, giving each one a unique name so you know which AED you are registering and then logging the maintenance of.
